As a Nutritional therapist I work with individuals to find out what is causing issues such as low energy, poor performance, digestive discomfort including bloating, constipation or acid reflux, difficulty loosing or maintaining weight, skin problems, and painful periods, as well as tacking feelings of food related anxiety or stress.

Thorough discussion of current lifestyle, symptoms, and health challenges or concerns. I will let you know more about what I think is going on from a nutrition perspective, and some ideas of what we can do with both food/meals and ways of forming new habits.

We will come up with a plan and some specific steps that you are happy with, and agreed points we are going to measure/track.

Weekly/fortnightly calls (scheduled at a convenient time each week/fortnight)

Reflect on the week & steps followed (Points being tracked, what is/isn't working, progress made, challenges that came up).

Meal/food feedback - extra suggestions if needed.

Make focus for the next week(s) adapting the plan if needed.

45-60 minute one to one session with a follow up plan and support.

During a follow up we can reflect on; current health concerns or areas of focus, progress made so far, challenges faced, and lessons learned! They provide a chance for us to discuss what is or isn’t working, if there have been any changes to symptoms, and to reassess current goals and priorities.

Includes tweaking or creating new nutrition plan as needed.

Weekly communication between the initial and any follow ups to help you stay on track.

Functional Testing is also available to further explore; food sensitivities, gut health/digestion, hormonal imbalances, thyroid function, nutrient deficiencies, and, toxin/heavy metal exposure. (*prices vary)

What was your reason for seeking nutritional therapy/made you get in contact with Haidee?

I was struggling with binge eating due to a number of factors causing me to be stressed such as a family member being seriously ill, catching a bad flu and digestive issues. I benefited a lot from nutritional therapy in terms of sports nutrition and lifestyle changes. Now I am a lot more attuned to what my body needs and I ensure that I eat enough protein and carbohydrates to fuel my body. Little tweaks such as splitting my portion sizes helps my digestive system and as a result, I feel more energised and confident. The biggest difference I have noticed is that mentally, I am in a much better place. Nutritional therapy has made me make sense of why I was relying on negative comfort behaviours to avoid feelings of discomfort.

My main reason for seeking help from Haidee was that I suffered from bloating, dizziness, unable to sweat normally and just felt a little lost when it came to eating right.

The support was great, I felt at ease in asking questions and felt listened to finally after going to the doctor's so many times and being told that I am just 'stressed'.
